How to reach migrate.fi: one address for support, for data protection requests, and for telling us the service got something wrong.

2026-08-24

There is one address, and a person reads it. Write to support@migrate.fi about anything — a problem with the product, a data protection request, a payment, or a sentence in your roadmap that turns out to be wrong.

Where to write

support@migrate.fi. It is the address for everything, and there is no robot standing in front of it.

Write in English, Russian, Ukrainian or Vietnamese, whichever you are most comfortable in. Those are the languages this site is published in and we answer in all four.

It helps if you say which email address your account uses, what you were doing when it went wrong, and — when it is about something the service told you — which page said it.

Data protection requests

Access, correction, deletion, a copy of your data, or a question about what happens to a document you uploaded: the same address. Put 'data request' in the subject line so it is handled as one.

We answer within one month, which is what the GDPR requires of us, and sooner where we can. The privacy notice sets out the rights themselves and what we hold.

You do not need an account to do this. If you only joined the waitlist, the same address removes your entry.

Payments, and getting your money back

Questions about a payment, a receipt or a refund go to the same address. If you need a receipt for a purchase and do not have one, ask and we will send it.

The period in which you can withdraw from a Relocation Pass purchase, and what happens when you do, are set out in the Terms. Writing to us inside that period is all it takes.

Telling us something is wrong

This is the message we most want to receive. If a task card, a tip or an answer from the assistant says something that is not true of the current rules, tell us: name the task or paste the sentence, and say what the official page actually says.

The content here is generated from official sources, and it can drop a condition or overstate a requirement. We cannot see that from the inside. A reader who opened the linked page can. Corrections get acted on rather than filed.

What we cannot do by email

We cannot give you legal advice, we cannot act for you before Migri, Kela, DVV, Vero or any other authority, and we cannot submit or check an application on your behalf. That is not a rule about email — it is what this service is not, and the Terms say so at greater length.

We will never ask you for your password, and we will never ask you to send money to a personal account. If a message claiming to come from us does either of those things, it did not come from us.

Please do not email us a passport scan or a permit decision unless we have asked for it. Documents belong in the app, or at the private inbox.migrate.fi address your account can be given, where they are stored under your account instead of sitting in a mailbox.

How long we take

This is a small operation, so the honest answer is a few working days for most messages, and within one month for a data protection request because that is the deadline the law sets. If something is urgent because of a date on a letter you have received, say so in the first line.

If you have written and heard nothing, write again. A lost message is far more likely than a decision to ignore you.

Who you are writing to

migrate.fi is operated from Espoo, Finland, under business identity code (Y-tunnus) 3636874-7. We are the controller of the personal data described in the privacy notice.

If you believe we have handled your personal data wrongly and we have not put it right, you can complain to the Finnish Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto) at tietosuoja.fi. You may go to them directly, without asking us first.
